Name : Verde di Ca' Ruptae Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC Description : Suitable for seafood hors d'oeuvre, mixed fried fish, baked white fish and poultry. Vineyard region : The Marches, Province of Ancona. Grapes : 100% Verdicchio Soil : Predominantly pliocene sand and limestone. Miocene and pliocene clays. Winemaking : Double hand harvestingand winemaking with pure grapes, cryomaceration of part of the must on the skins. Soft pressing, static decantation of the light pressings obtained, fermentation at a controlled temperature with selected yeasts and, finally, prolonged permanence in a tank on the fermentation pulp "Sur Lie" and a minimum of three months in the bottle. Tasting notes : Yellow straw colour with greenish tints, fruity bouquet with floral highlights, balanced, hearty fresh taste. Alcohol gradation : 13,5% vol.
